SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time | Moston | January Start Teaching Personnel is delighted to be working in partnership with a highly respected and inclusive primary school in Moston to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) begins in January and focuses on providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) through both one-to-one and small group interventions. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is celebrated for its nurturing ethos and inclusive approach to education. You’ll be joining a collaborative, welcoming team that values the vital role support staff play in pupil development. Your Role Will Include: Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN, both individually and in small groups Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering personalised learning activities Supporting the implementation and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor progress Adapting support strategies to meet evolving pupil needs What We’re Looking For: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children with SEN A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A commitment to safeguarding and child welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to complete training) Why Choose Teaching Personnel?
