We are looking for someone who will work closely and supportively with the Registered Manager to ensure high standards of care are consistently maintained. They will play a key role in ensuring that the homes operate at all times in accordance with all appropriate regulatory frameworks and will deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Pay;
£32,00 - £35,00 based on 40hrs a week. Dependent on qualifications and experience
£65 per sleep
Essential;
Full UK driving licence
Able to work on a rota basis (including evening, weekends and bank holidays)
Able to work 24hr shifts inclusive of a sleep-in
Good understanding of safeguarding children and young people
Experience of working with children and young people in a residential setting, completed or enrolled on Diploma Level 3 Children & Young People Workforce or NVQ equivalent
Preferable;
Hold a Level 3 in residential care or equivalent
1 Year's experience working in residential care
Experience supporting children with EBD/LD
Skills;
Good Communication
Knowledge of safeguarding children and young people
Comprehensive reporting and recording

Experience of leading a team
Supervision Skills
Ability to manage teams effectively
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
Understanding the needs of SEMH children including managing challenging behaviour
