We are working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Telford who are looking to welcome a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to their team. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting students with additional needs and committed to making a real difference in the classroom. You'll be joining a nurturing team who value collaboration and continuous development.
What you'll be doing:
* Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with additional learning needs
* Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
* Supporting students with EHCPs to access the curriculum effectively
* Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
* Offering emotional and academic support to students throughout the school day
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for inclusive education
* Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting diverse needs
* Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable)
