Duties
* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with accounting principles.
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
* Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and balance sheets to ensure accuracy.
* Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft for efficient financial management.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing analytical support to senior management.
* Mentor junior staff members, fostering their professional development within the finance department.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, conducting audits as necessary.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business strategy.
Skills
* Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and PeopleSoft is essential.
* Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
* Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
