We are looking for an Associate/Senior Associate to join our dynamic Corporate team.

The Role
Blaser Mills Law has a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Lawyer to join our Corporate and Commercial department preferably with contacts, but it is not a pre-requisite. Good level of Corporate experience across a range of work, including M&A, JVs, restructures, private equity and venture capital.
Ability to work closely with the Partner in Charge of the team, handle both their own case load, and have exposure to Partner’s transactions from time to time.
Key Experience
* Experienced Corporate Lawyer required within our Corporate and Commercial department – preferably with contacts, but it is not a pre-requisite.
* Must be 4-7 years PQE.
* Good level of Corporate experience across a range of work, including M&A, JVs, restructures, private equity and venture capital.
* Experience in handling fast-paced and highly demanding clients.
* Excellent technical ability.
* Commercially aware.
* Ability to work closely with the Partner in Charge of the team, handle both their own case load, and have exposure to Partner’s transactions from time to time.
* Ability to negotiate.
* In their personal fee earning work billings in accordance with set targets, other than where exceptional circumstances apply.
* Perform fee earning work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk management procedures.
* Flexibility, dealing with a number of matters at any given time.
* Ensure proper control of work in progress, billing and cash collection.
* Be effective in developing new work from existing clients and seek new clients for themselves and others. Will develop and support marketing initiatives.
* Maintain and nurture an appropriate network of contacts and referrers and endeavour to promote the firm in their professional and personal lives.
* Gain or maintain IT skills appropriate to modern legal practice.
* Proficient at fee recording and administration.
* Travel to other offices and client sites will be required.
