Romsey, Hampshire £38,000 £42,500 + Overtime + Bonus Full-Time | 44 hours per week Are you a hands-on Maintenance Engineer with strong mechanical and electrical skills? Were working with a well-established manufacturing business in the Romsey area looking to strengthen their engineering team with a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy production environment, supporting the performance and reliability of equipment. The Role Youll play a key role in keeping production running efficiently, carrying out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs across a range of specialist machinery. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns Diagnose and repair faults across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Maintain and troubleshoot extrusion lines and associated downstream equipment Support machine set-up, commissioning and continuous improvement projects Work closely with production teams to optimise performance and reduce downtime Maintain accurate maintenance records and fault logs Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals Ensure all work complies with health & safety and environmental standards Assist with general site maintenance (lighting, power, basic plumbing) What Were Looking For Recognised Engineering qualificationis ideal (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC/HND) Proven maintenance experience within manufacturing or automated machinery environments Strong fault-finding ability on PLC systems, motors, sensors and drives Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Strong understanding of safe working practices Desirable Skills 18th Edition (if electrically biased) Experience with PLC fault finding Knowledge of Lean, 5S, TPM xxuwjjq or continuous improvement Whats On Offer Competitive salary with regular overtime 25 days holiday + bank holidays Twice-yearly bonus linked to company performance Stable, well-established manufacturing environment Opportunity to work on specialist equipment and develop technical skills If youre a proactive Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied role where you can make a real impact, wed love to hear from you.
