Rubicon are recruiting for a driven and motivated Accounts Assistant on behalf of a long-standing Dorset-based manufacturer with a global customer base. As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll work closely with the Management Accountant and wider finance team, gaining valuable exposure to treasury, forecasting, month-end processes, and audit preparation.

Your responsibilities will include:
Posting payments and receipts using accounting software
Managing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable ledgers, including debt management and customer contact
Preparing payment runs and supporting treasury activities
Assisting with month-end accounts and reporting to head office
Processing employee expenses and supporting VAT/PAYE submissions
Performing account reconciliations and preparing audit documentation
Experience required:
Previous experience in a finance or accounts-based role
Familiarity with AP/AR processes and ledger management
Working knowledge of VAT and PAYE
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with internal teams and customers
