Accounts Technician / Part Qualified Accountant Newry Flexible Working hours Up to £34,000pa Black Fox Solutions are currently working with an award winning accountancy firm who are looking to bring on a new Accounts Technician or Part Qualified Accountant on to the team. If you are an experienced Accounts Technician looking to take the next step in your career, or a Part Qualified Accountant looking to expand your practice experience, this is a great opportunity! Key Responsibilities Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations. Preparing and submitting VAT returns on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for clients. Assisting with tax compliance, including preparing tax returns, calculating tax liabilities, and liaising with tax authorities as required. Communicating with clients on a regular basis to provide updates on their financial status and answer any questions they may have. Providing clients with an excellent level of service and ensuring all work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with company and industry regulations. What you'll need to succeed A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role You may be a qualified accounts technician, a part qualified accountant or qualified by experience Experience working within a practice environment on the preparation of both financial accounts & taxation and providing clients with general financial business advice.
