Role Overview
Join the Agincare family as a care home Deputy Manager at St Peter's Park Retirement Village in Bexhill-on-Sea.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the care team to deliver safe, supportive, person‑centred care for residents.
* Ensure regular review of resident needs and maintain hygiene, cleanliness and equipment standards.
* Support the Registered Manager in day‑to‑day operations and assume full responsibility in their absence.
* Induct, supervise and support team members.
* Complete care audits and trigger reviews as residents’ needs change.
* Maintain up‑to‑date administrative records, including care notes, medication charts and meeting minutes.
* Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding risks and events, and enforce mitigation procedures.
* Liaise with families, care professionals, social workers and residents.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 12 months to work in the UK.
* Experience leading a team of care assistants (and registered nurses if clinical).
* QCF Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Health and Social Care.
* Good knowledge of CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
* Availability for 42 hours per week, including weekends.
