Are you a proactive, determined HR professional looking to be part of an innovative and outcome driven team?
Working within the Northern Care Alliance, this role provides the opportunity to work closely with the services within the organisation. The HR Advisor will provide a high quality, comprehensive and effective generalist operational Human Resources service to allocated areas within the Trust and support the HR Business Partner in the delivery of key HR objectives.
Main duties of the job
We're looking for a HR professional to join our team as an HR Advisor on a temporary basis to play a crucial role in providing high quality HR services. You will have the support of an HR Business Partner, the HR Advisor team, and the wider HR Team.

* As a key member of the HR team, the post holder will provide professional advice and support to managers and staff on employment issues.
* Provide a high quality, comprehensive and effective generalist operational Human Resources service.
* Support the HR Business Partner in the delivery of key HR objectives.

Job responsibilities

Person Specification

Qualifications
* Educated to degree level in a relevant subject or equivalent level of experience.
* Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Knowledge & Experience
* Substantial HR experience at an advisory level.
* Experience in managing complex employee relations cases and organisational change.
* Sound understanding of HR policies and procedures, including up to date knowledge of employment law and best practice.
* Substantial generalist HR experience within the NHS.
* Experience of working in a large, complex unionised organisation.
* Experience of undertaking Agenda for Change Job Matching Panels.
