Hall Green School is a very popular, heavily oversubscribed, and academically successful 11-16 academy. We are a highly diverse institution, both ethnically and as a fully accessible mainstream school, attracting pupils from across the city with physical disabilities. Our pupils contribute to the school’s caring, nurturing, and inclusive culture: “Pupils live up to the school’s values of ‘learning with compassion, ambition, responsibility, and excellence’. Pupils behave well and have positive attitudes to their work.” (Ofsted 2025)
The school is part of the newly formed West Midlands Academy Trust (WMAT), which opened in January 2025. As a founding member, the school has played an integral role in shaping the Trust’s mission:
* Relentless focus on delivering an excellent Quality of Education, resulting in strong progress and attainment for all groups of pupils.
* Emphasis on personal development and well-being for staff and pupils.
Most importantly, we seek a candidate who shares the school’s approach and commitment to the success and well-being of its young people. We invite you to speak with the Headteacher and arrange a visit to see the school in action.
