Office Manager and Bookkeeper


Fully office based in London, N20

Part time hours, spread across five days per week

£30k pro-rata'd to your working hours


We are a small interior design company based in North London and we’re rapidly growing! We are working on multiple projects, expanding the team and developing new services, so we urgently need someone to come and manage all finance and office administration so we can focus on business development and delivery.


This role will manage the full bookkeeping cycle from invoicing to financial reporting, developing and implementing robust and efficient processes. You will be responsible for managing the physical office space as well as ensuring all technology and utilities the team requires are in place and working well. There is also likely to be general office adminstration and support, for example, helping with client proposals, updating our databases and negotiating supplier contracts.


Essential Skills and Experience for this role include:

* Proven experience in bookkeeping / office management (likely 3 years +), or a similar administrative role.
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
* Strong communication skills for working with designers, suppliers, and clients.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.


It would be helpful, but not essential, if you also had:

* Experience working in an interior design, architecture, or creative studio.
* Familiarity with procurement processes and supplier management.
* Experience managing project budgets.
* Knowledge of VAT processes in the UK.
