Equans is looking for a Quality Safety Health Environment Support to join our team based in Brighton on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
* Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating risk assessments and method statements.
* Conduct site safety inspections under supervision.
* Conduct regular environmental compliance and risk checks.
* Support monitoring of COSHH controls and hazardous materials.
* Help with the reporting and investigation of accidents, near misses, and incidents.
* Contribute to monthly HSE performance reports.
* Participate in the review of contractor competency.
* Assist in creating and distributing team safety briefs.
* Liaise with frontline teams across services (cleaning, catering, hard FM, etc.) to ensure safe working practices are embedded.
* Learn to communicate HSE matters effectively across departments.
* Maintain and update contract Environmental Management & Action Plan.
* Track all mandatory training across the contract.

Who are you?
* Previous experience in a similar role in a professional Facilities Management environment.
* Knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation.
* Knowledge of ISO 14001 & 45001 Standards.
* Team player capable of leading and focusing team members to achieve their objectives.
* Current Driving Licence.
