Strategic Account Manager (New Business)

We’re looking for a high-performing Strategic Account Manager – New Business to join our Corporate Sales team at Lyreco. If you thrive on winning high-value contracts, crafting tailored commercial proposals, and working with major UK businesses – this could be your next big move.
What you’ll be doing as a Strategic Account Manager:
* Proactively build a strong pipeline of corporate prospects across the UK
* Win and implement new contracts worth £750k+ annually
* Lead on tender processes, RFI/RFQ submissions, and e-auctions
* Deliver compelling pricing, commercial proposals, and workplace solutions
* Own all aspects of the sales cycle – from prospecting to close
* Build lasting relationships with procurement and senior stakeholders
* Use social selling, multi-thread networking, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM)
What you’ll bring as a Strategic Account Manager:
* Proven track record in B2B strategic sales and new business acquisition (ideally at enterprise or corporate level)
* Experience managing long and complex sales cycles and negotiations
* Strong understanding of the tendering process, digital engagement, and commercial pricing
* Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
* Creative talent and third box thinking
* Confident using CRM, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel), and digital prospecting tools
* Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel (some overnight stays)
