EMEAI Payroll Specialist
and become a driving force in managing multi-country payroll tasks with a focus on Germany, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery to the outsourced vendor. This role requires strong knowledge of German and EMEAI payroll practices and the responsibilities include processing payroll data on schedule, ensuring accurate payments, deductions, and compliance with legal requirements. This is a remote position and the successful candidate will be working from home.
Your main tasks: Execute routine payroll tasks and ensure timely submission of payroll data to local providers Manage employee benefit schemes in Germany and support harmonization and reconciliation efforts Ensure correct and punctual salary payments, including deductions and compliance with legal requirements Serve as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries and escalate operational issues as needed Follow internal controls, support audits, and ensure adherence to payroll regulations Identify and implement payroll process enhancements; maintain documentation and attend regular training Prepare payroll reports, year-end filings, and support tax and social security compliance Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, supporting payroll projects and initiatives across EMEAI What we are looking for: Vocational qualification or upper secondary education in business, finance, or administration; payroll certifications preferred 3+ years experience in multi-country payroll, with strong expertise in German payroll laws, systems, and compliance (including garnishments, benefits, taxes, and social security) Fluent in German
and
English (spoken and written); additional European languages are a plus.
