Job Description
Great Central Plastics Ltd is a leading sustainable manufacturer, specialising in Sustainable Plastic Injection Moulding. We are situated close to Daventry, in a village called Woodford Halse, which provides all the necessary amenities. We have a great team on site, and are currently looking for additional team members to join us in the role of Production Operative. We work closely with brands such as Jägermeister, Campari, collectable grading slabs and numerous prestigious automotive brands.
There are 2 shifts available - project based for 3 months.
* 3pm-11pm - PM shift
* 9am-5pm - Day Shift
However shifts are subject to change, to meet business needs.
THESE SHIFTS ARE SPECIFIC TO A KEY ACCOUNT. IT IS ESSENTIAL PRODUCTION IS MONITORED AND CARE IS TAKEN WHEN DEALING WITH THESE PARTS.
Responsibilities:
· Perform assembly tasks according to established procedures and quality standards.
· Read and interpret work orders.
· Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
· Maintain a clean and organised work area.
· Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
Skills:
. Able to stand and remain active during your shift.
· Ability to assemble products according to specifications.
· Good manual dexterity.
· Excellent attention to detail.
· To complete relevant quality & stock sheets.
· Basic Mathematics.
· To work accurately, at a fast pace.
· The ability to interpret instructions and follow company policies & procedures.
· The capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Note:
If you live outside of Woodford Halse, it is essential that you are able to drive into work, as public transport is not adequate for commuting in and out of the village.
