Lightspeed is looking for a Field Sales Account Executive to join our growing UK Hospo team. You will be implementing a strategy that requires a physical presence across Leeds. Each month, you will drive the sales cycle from lead generation to demonstrations and closing deals.
Lightspeed’s Hospitality team is in hyper-growth mode. Our process has been refined and optimized at a smaller scale in recent years, and now it is time to expand our team and reach.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Become an expert in the UK Hospo industry.
2. Monitor competitors, their products, and marketing strategies.
3. Research and forecast sales, develop sales strategies, and evaluate their effectiveness within your catchment area.
4. Convert prospects into customers through in-person methods such as door-to-door, cold calling, and presentations.
5. Manage the entire sales cycle: lead development, client meetings, value propositions, financial deals, negotiations, and closing.
6. Visit customers regularly to identify business challenges and pain points.
7. Conduct in-person demonstrations of the hospitality product.
8. Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce CRM.
9. Process sales quotes and deadlines accurately.
10. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop new strategies based on market insights.
11. Drive performance to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.
12. Create new business through networking events.
What you’ll be bringing:
1. Relevant sales experience in field and outbound environments, preferably in solution-sales or technology-related roles.
2. Strong experience in hospitality.
3. Understanding of sales development best practices.
4. Effective time management skills.
5. Excellent customer service, listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
7. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
8. Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
9. An entrepreneurial, agile mindset with a bias toward action and adaptability.
