This role offers the chance to work with a diverse client base across various sectors and make a significant impact on the firm’s continued success. You will oversee audit planning, execution, and delivery while mentoring and developing junior managers and audit staff. Key responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through to final reporting. Review and sign off audit working papers and financial statements. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for junior team members. Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulatory requirements, and firm policies. Contribute to the firm’s growth through business development and client retention initiatives. Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects as needed. What we’re looking for: ACA or ACCA qualified with significant experience in audit management. Strong knowledge of UK auditing standards, IFRS, and company law. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 2 years in a UK accountancy practice. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Experience using audit software such as CaseWare or similar. Client-focused mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
