The Role
As an Architect at SPACE, you will:
• Lead projects across a range of sectors, taking responsibility from concept through to completion
• Produce high-quality, coordinated architectural design and technical information using Revit
• Ensure compliance with current building regulations and technical standards across all RIBA stages
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver imaginative, buildable and sustainable solutions
• Drive innovative approaches to low-carbon and whole-life design, contributing to our evolving digital carbon model
• Contribute to project programming, resource planning, and efficient project delivery
• Support and mentor junior team members, sharing technical expertise
• Promote and uphold SPACE Architects' quality assurance and management processes
What We're Looking For
• ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver medium to large-scale projects across a range of sectors
• Strong design and technical capabilities with excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations
• Proficient in Revit and confident in producing fully coordinated BIM-based drawing packages
• A clear understanding of CDM regulations, health and safety principles, and design risk management
• A collaborative communicator who can engage confidently with clients and design teams
• A considered approach to sustainable and contextually responsive design
• Experience working within ISO 9001 Quality Management and BIM Level 2 environments is desirable
