Customer Service Centre Administrator

Location & Working Hours:
Carlisle Cumberland Council Offices - 37 hours per week Full Time Permanent

We have a great opportunity for the right person to join the Customer Service Centre as a Customer Service Centre Administrator. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly and proactive team who are passionate about providing top-level customer service to support the delivery of Cumberland Councils operating model.


The Role

The team provide effective and efficient customer service, from the first point of contact, ensuring positive outcomes for customers to reduce demand on our front-line critical services along with following back-office processes to ensure online contacts are being assessed. This can be through a range of channels such as face to face, online, telephony and email.

Services situated within the Customer Service Centre include Blue Badge, Free School Meals, Waste & Recycling, Waste Permits, Registration & Ceremonies, Highways Hotline, Revenues & Benefits, MP Enquiries, Complaints, Health & Wellbeing and Council Tax.

The ideal candidates will be proactive, have excellent customer service skills, a flexible approach to working and must be able to adapt to a multichannel offer.
