About the Role
As we expand our underwriting team in Manchester, we are seeking talented individuals to join us as Automotive Finance Underwriters. The role involves assessing the creditworthiness of potential Ford customers for both Personal & Commercial lending, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
* Experience: 0-5 years in credit underwriting or financial analysis, preferably within automotive finance, assessing retail and commercial customer credit profiles.
* Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and key ratios, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure.
* Risk Assessment: Knowledge of risk principles to evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to explain complex concepts clearly.
* Attention to Detail: Accuracy in data analysis and documentation.
* Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Additional Information
This position is based in Manchester, requiring attendance at the Manchester Centre approximately 4 days a week, with flexibility based on business needs.
