Your newpanyHays are working with a client who are looking for a maintenance carpenter to join their team on a permanent basis.
Your new role
1. Working to deliver the best quality service, carrying out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties
2. You’ll undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work.
3. Your core trade will be in Carpentry and will have the relevant qualifications and experience in this trade.
4. You will also be able toplete minor carpentry, tiling and decorating work related tasks within a social housing setting.
5. You’ll receive andplete assigned tasks using a handheld device (full training)
6. Working efficiently and safely in line with best practise to achieve excellent customer experience.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Candidates will hold a City & Guilds Craft or Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent
8. Have excellent knowledge of Health & Safety.
9. Candidates will also be customer focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties.
10. You’ll hold or be working towards holding a CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card and have a passion forpleting high-quality repairs on time.
11. You’ll be punctual, reliable andfortable operating small handheld plant such as drills and breakers.
12. If you have been working within the core trade detailed and have the relevant experience but do not have the required qualifications, you may be able to be supported with obtaining this.
13. You must hold a valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as apany vehicle will be provided (work use only).
