Sales Director /Division Leader– Specialty Chemicals Sector

EPM Scientific has partnered exclusively with a global leader in high-performance polymers and specialty chemicals. We are seeking an accomplished Sales Manager to drive strategic growth and strengthen our presence in the UK market.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales leadership within the specialty chemicals sector and a strong understanding of polyamide products.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Account Leadership: Oversee and grow relationships with key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
* Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial applications and consumer goods markets.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions and maximize client satisfaction.
* Market Positioning: Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
* Revenue Accountability: Drive sales performance to meet and exceed targets, reporting directly to senior leadership.
* Technical Expertise: Leverage knowledge of polyamides and plastics applications to provide consultative support to clients.
Requirements
* Proven Sales Leadership: Demonstrable experience managing complex sales cycles and achieving significant revenue growth.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong background in specialty chemicals, with expertise in polyamides and plastics (including injection molding and part design).
* Commercial Acumen: Ability to develop strategic plans and negotiate high-value contracts.
* Communication Skills: Excellent English (verbal & written); additional European languages are a plus.
* Mobility: Full UK driving licence (company car provided); willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
Although this is a remote position, candidates must be based and reside in the United Kingdom.
