Credit Controller – Wetherby area
Up to £31,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Full-time, permanent

Due to continued growth and internal development, they’re now looking for a Credit Controller to join their friendly and down-to-earth finance team.
You’ll work alongside an approachable and knowledgeable Credit Manager who is a big believer in training, mentoring, and encouraging progression at your own pace. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to the full credit process and develop within a growing and evolving business.

Day to Day duties will include -
* Proactive collection of overdue invoices across a varied customer base
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to manage risk and resolve queries
* Chasing payments by phone and email in a professional, customer-focused way
* Posting customer payments and maintaining accurate ledgers on systems
* Producing and issuing invoices, statements, and supporting documentation
* Handling daily queries from clients, resolving them promptly and efficiently
* Completing daily bank reconciliations and cash allocations
* Supporting aged debtor reporting with commentary and analysis
* Reviewing credit limits and managing held orders
* Working closely with sales and internal stakeholders to manage debt and processes
What we’re looking for :
* Previous experience working in credit control within a finance team
* Someone who is confident communicating with customers and internal teams
* Strong attention to detail and good Excel skills
* Someone who enjoys taking ownership of their workload and problem-solving
* Someone who likes being part of a supportive team in a busy, varied environment
