Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Recruitment Administrator will be as follows:
3. Individually checking and processing training contract and work experience applications (approximately 6,000 per year) through the online recruitment system.
4. Managing the two shared trainee recruitment enquiries and applications mailboxes and updating candidates' applications/fielding queries as appropriate.
5. Maintaining the online recruitment system in an accurate and timely manner, including communicating application outcomes to candidates and managing the online interview scheduling tool.
6. Keeping application tracker spreadsheets up to date.
7. Responding to general recruitment queries (both internal and external) by telephone and email.
8. Meeting candidates virtually or in person and setting up their written exercises.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Recruitment Administrator should have:
9. Ideally degree calibre or equivalent experience
10. Minimum of grade 5 or 6 in GCSE English E
11. Excellent proven organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
12. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
13. Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
14. Enthusiastic individual prepared to take a hands-on approach to managing their workload using their own initiative
15. Comfortable accepting instructions and guidance from different angles
16. Good team player
17. Demonstrates professionalism in all dealings
18. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages (in particular Word and Excel)
19. High level of professionalism and integrity; displays the highest standard of professional ethics
