Working for a prestigious client in the Financial Services sector, the Security Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all security operations for the client in the southern region, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and compliance.

From managing the business continuity programme and crisis management planning to leading security investigations, this role requires a proactive approach and strong leadership skills.
Working closely with the Account Manager and UK Operations Manager, the Security Operations Manager will coordinate day-to-day security activities and supervise the team's performance.

Key Responsibilities
* To lead by example – The highest standards in uniform turnout, attendance and timekeeping expected
* Confirm that supervisors have ensured their officers are correctly dressed, have valid ID and in-date SIA badges fit for their role, and have a notebook, pen and SPAM book on their person before commencement of each shift
* Confidence to delegate tasks to supervisors and others where needed
* Provide training, mentoring and guidance to security staff including appraisals
* Ensure that all staff comply with the Health & Safety Policy and Procedures, including first aid responses
* Use your initiative to anticipate the needs of the business and acts accordingly
About You:
* Experience of security in a blue chip organisation with evidence of delivering a senior management operational role
* Stakeholder management experience and used to dealing with senior personnel
* Experience of managing and developing teams
* Process driven with experience of creating strategy documents, AI’s and SOP’s
* SIA Qualified - in either Close Protection, Frontline Guarding or Door Supervisor
* Scheduling and rostering Experience
* MS Office – Intermediate user of Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
