About the role Working with the Head of Solution Delivery, you will be responsible for the independent end-to-end delivery of IT projects, ensuring that the BTG team achieves its key delivery objectives. You will ensure that each project meets the agreed requirements and quality criteria, delivering our projects on time and to budget. The Senior IT Project Manager will liaise with senior business stakeholders, IT vendors and business colleagues at all levels to achieve a successful outcome. The role is of a hybrid nature, typically spending one day in on of our Avove office locations with the potential for additional site visits. What will your day look like Driving the delivery of projects to ensure the right delivery in the most effective way possible. Actively identifying and managing risks, including inter-project dependencies, preventing them from becoming issues and negatively impacting projects. Initiating projects including management of scoping, feasibility (requirements, selection, technical assurance, design, costing, benefits definition), business case development, supplier negotiation (commercial terms) and contracts. Developing, revising, managing and tracking progress against project plans. Tracking actual costs and forecasts for projects against budgets and managing change to scope and schedule. Contributing to the development of project standards Ensuring change implementation requirements and approvals are met. Acting as a role model, supporting and coaching your colleagues. About you This role is perfect for someone who has experience working as the project manager for ERP, fieldworker and other application solution implementations in mid-tier organisations including contract mobilisations or acquisitions. Technical solution knowledge is desirable and you may be familiar with Fieldworker platforms, NetSuite and Dayforce. You will have an analytical mindset and will use your problem-solving ability to anticipate, understand and resolve issues affecting delivery. You will be skilled in Stakeholder Management with the ability to influence people at all levels, both internally and externally. A strong communicator, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, communicating confidently and in an uplifting manner. An efficient multi-tasker, you will be highly organised with good attention to detail. Committed to professional development, you will learn and understand new solutions, issues and platforms.
