What you'll be doing
Leading, mentoring, and developing a high‑performing NPD team
Managing multiple projects from concept to launch - ensuring products are safe, compliant, and customer‑ready
Translating market trends into commercially viable new products
Developing recipes and working closely with flavour houses and internal teams
Supporting scale‑up, factory trials, and first productions
Liaising with operations, technical, supply chain, and commercial teams to keep projects on track
Presenting concepts directly to customers and managing key stakeholder relationships
Overseeing artwork approvals, specifications, and compliance with BRCGS and food legislation
Contributing to continuous improvement and manufacturing process optimisation
Staying ahead of market trends, emerging ingredients, and customer expectations
Acting as a key member of HACCP and supporting supplier approvalsWhat we're looking for
5+ years' experience in food product development
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
Knowledge of HACCP (Level 4), Food Safety (Level 4), and BRC requirements
Experience working with retailers and/or brands
Excellent project management skills and able to juggle multiple briefs
High attention to detail with strong technical and spec-writing abilities
Confident communicator who can influence, collaborate, and present ideas
