Requirements:
1. At least 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice, ideally in accounts and possibly some audit. The firm is open to the right candidate with different backgrounds.
2. The role is client-facing, so personable qualities are essential.
The role is varied as a “Client Manager.” The candidate would be responsible for the day-to-day needs of a client base, overseeing the overall service to clients.
Responsibilities include:
* Being the main point of contact for all client queries.
* Handling accounts preparation, some audit work, corporation tax return preparation, and personal tax preparation.
* Engaging in tax compliance and tax planning for both personal and corporate clients.
* Preparing trust and estate returns.
* Involvement in inheritance tax planning.
* Supervising and coaching staff.
* Participating in daily practice planning and management.
* Assisting clients with budgeting and financial planning, liaising with banks and financial advisers.
