Aspirational Managers are our future; they are the very best of us growing our own and making Hospitality Managers of the future. Champneys is a collection of four dedicated health resorts, two hotels inclusive of a full Champneys Spas, two city spa businesses, we also have an internationally renowned beauty college.
Our Aspirational Managers program is a 37-month program, including two apprenticeships [Level 3 Team Leader & Level 4 Hospitality Manager]. It is split into two phases;
Phase 1 – 15 Months [12-Month Course + 3-Month End-Point Assessment]
The first phase of the Aspirational Managers Programme consists of a series of departmental rotations designed to give you a comprehensive understanding of the various functions that contribute to our mission. During each rotation, you will receive training up to supervisor level. You will gain hands-on experience across key operational areas, including: Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa, Retail, Wellbeing & Fitness and Kitchen.
Throughout this phase, you will also complete your Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship.
Phase 2 – 22 Months [18-Month Apprenticeship + 4-Month End-Point Assessment]
After completing Phase 1, you will move onto a flexible schedule, working across multiple departments within the same week. This phase allows you to apply your skills and new knowledge in a dynamic environment, supporting teams in achieving the highest standards.
During this stage, you will complete the Level 4 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship and begin to transition into your chosen specialist area—the department where you envision building a long-term, fulfilling career.
With no two days the same your days will vary, however, some of your tasks will include;
Educating guests on all nutritional elements of our menu
1. Working within varying teams, (you will be mentored and trained in all areas)
2. Delivering exceptional levels of customer service.
3. Acting as a buddy to your colleagues you will ensure they are working to the agreed levels
4. You will liaise with all guests and support them with their itineraries
5. You will be a brand ambassador and educate guests and colleagues on all things Champneys
Skills Required:
6. Dedicated; this is a 37 month program spanning two qualifications and a number of different departments
7. Problem solving; no two days are the same, our guests equally are as different
8. Honesty; have the confidence and assurance you can be honest, always, we will be the same
9. Presentation; our brand sets us apart, always represent it well
