We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Technology faculty and we have a role available as a Teaching Support Officer in our Engineering Department. Job Title: Teaching Support officer (technician) - Engineering Location: Wisbech Hours: 37 per week Salary: £25,176 - 25,385 per annum Due to the retirement of a long standing member of the team we are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with an engineering background to join out team in a key support role. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about putting students at the heart of everything they do. You will play an important part in supporting our teaching staff by preparing workshops and classroom resources, helping to create an engaging and well-organised learning environment that enables our learners to achieve their very best. This role is an excellent entry point into the education sector, offering a rewarding chance to make a real difference while developing your skills and experience in a supportive setting. The successful post holder will hold a minimum of a level 2 qualification in Engineering or a related subject, have industry experience and hold level 2 maths and English qualifications (or be willing to obtain them within the first 3 years of employment) We are a successful, community-focused FE College based in the East of England. We have a thriving Engineering team and in recent years, the department has grown from strength to strength.
