First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs to a wide range of automated storage and retrieval systems. The role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong customer focus, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards and customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities
* Servicing, maintenance, and repair of automated storage and retrieval systems.
* Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions.
* Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
* Maintaining accurate service records and completing relevant documentation.
* Liaising with customers to understand their needs and provide professional advice.
* Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to.
* Ordering and managing spare parts requirements.
* Representing the company in a professional manner, acting as a brand ambassador at all times.
* Supporting colleagues and providing assistance on larger installation and service projects where required.
Skills and Qualifications
* Level 3 Electrical Qualification (essential).
* Strong mechanical and/or electrical engineering background.
* Previous experience with automated systems, material handling equipment, or similar machinery is highly desirable.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
* Customer-focused with a proactive and professional approach.
* Full UK driving licence.
