Responsibilities as Sous Chef
Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Lead the kitchen in the Head Chefs absence
Maintain high food quality, consistency, and presentation
Assist with menu delivery, costing, and stock control
Support rota planning and wage control
Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards
Train and support junior members of the team
Work closely with FOH to ensure smooth service
What Were Looking For
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Senior CDP ready to step up
Background in fresh food, quality-led kitchens
Strong organisational and leadership skills
Confidence managing stock, rotas, and compliance
Passion for sustainability, provenance, and high standards
Comfortable working some weekends, bank holidays, and occasional evenings
Legal right to work in the UK
