A rewarding opportunity is available for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) with credentials including CCC, CFY, or School certification to serve elementary-aged students in Flint, MI. This contract position offers a consistent 40-hour workweek with caseloads averaging 40-50 students, focused primarily within one building to allow continuity and collaboration. Depending on candidate availability, some flexibility for shared time between two buildings may be necessary to ensure comprehensive student support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individualized speech-language therapy services to elementary students with communication disorders.
* Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and monitor student progress.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student development.
* Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and policies.
* For CFY candidates, provide a plan to work under the supervision of a CCC-certified mentor.
Qualifications:
* Valid SLP certification (CCC, CFY, or School credential).
* Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
* Ability to manage caseloads of 40-50 students effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* For CFY applicants, availability of a supervising CCC mentor is required.
