Position:PMLD Support Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to a delightful Year 2 child with PMLD, ensuring their individual needs are met with care and sensitivity.
* Assist the class teacher in implementing tailored educational plans and activities designed to engage and support the child.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where the child feels valued and supported.
* Support the child in developing their social, emotional, and academic skills through personalized interventions.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to monitor and report on the child's progress.
* Assist with personal care tasks as needed, ensuring the dignity and comfort of the child.
* Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom activities and school events, adapting as necessary to meet the child's needs.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children with PMLD or other special educational needs.
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to supporting children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to adapt to the individual needs of the child.
* Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (preferred but not essential).
