Responsibilities
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work orders.
* Prep and fabricate fire rated aluminium windows, doors, and specialist systems.
* Operate machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
* Measure, cut, and prepare aluminium profiles with accuracy and efficiency.
* Carry out quality checks to ensure all products meet company and industry standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following health & safety procedures.
* Work collaboratively with the production team to meet deadlines and project requirements.
* Troubleshoot fabrication issues and make necessary adjustments during assembly.
* Handle materials, stock, and components responsibly to minimise waste.
* Support continuous improvement by contributing ideas to increase efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications
* Experience in aluminium fabrication (windows, doors).
* Experience in fire rated (desirable).
* Comfortable reading technical drawings and working with measurements.
* Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery.
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently when required.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
* Knowledge of health & safety practices in a workshop environment.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
* (Desirable) Forklift licence or similar workshop equipment training.

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
