Teaching Assistants – September 2026 Start Location: Basingstoke Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Pay: £14.25 per hour We are recruiting Teaching Assistants to join two specialist schools in Basingstoke this September. These settings support pupils with additional needs, including SEN (autism, complex learning and communication needs) and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health needs). Both schools offer supportive, team-focused environments where staff work closely together to help pupils succeed both academically and personally. The Role You will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them to engage with learning, develop social skills and manage their emotions. You will also assist teachers in adapting activities, promoting positive behaviour and creating a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
