The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking workshop Labourer to join our team. The workshop Labourer will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day production processes, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and performing a variety of tasks to support the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Paint touch up
* Cleaning/tidying workshop
* Paint masking
* Delivery and pick up of goods from suppliers
* Organisation of workshop
* Supporting 6s improvement activities
* Maintaining workshop with painting etc
* Assisting stores personnel with Wrap and Pack parts to specification and send to Special Process Vendors as required
* General labouring duties as required
* Assisting in quarterly WIP checks
Job Requirements
* Experience in a fast-paced Environment would be advantageous
* Able to manage multiple tasks with a bias towards action and speed
* High Degree of flexibility required
* Liaises effectively with wider cross functional team to ensure targets are met.
* Constantly displays integrity and respect
* Actively engages in discussions and openly supports team decisions
* Maintain a positive attitude in order to positively influence the process improvement activities throughout the organization
* The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Preferred
* Forklift Licence
* Driving Licence
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Software, Excel in particular
