Are you a platform engineering professional who understands how to build a roadmap for digital applications? Then our Digital Engineering team has the role for you. Working closely with the Platforms Integration team, you will support the Digital Design Intelligence (DDI) platform for a scalable Azure-based cloud platform. This data management system aims to improve the quality of construction design and modeling, and to exploit the value of well-organized data.
Responsibilities include:
* Architecture and framework design, including deployment of core components on Azure such as virtual machines, databases, and networking.
* Developing guide rails, templates, and reusable frameworks.
* Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for automated provisioning.
Automation & Development
* Implementing and automating pre-configured environments.
* Integrating DDI platform automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub.
* Creating onboarding documents, workflows, and user guides.
Security & Compliance
* Promoting security best practices within the DDI platform.
* Establishing and maintaining automated compliance checks.
* Performing security assessments and audits.
Optimization and Cost Management
* Using performance metrics and user feedback for continuous improvement.
Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
* Serving as the DDI platform technical expert.
* Training support and development teams on DDI tools.
* Providing tutorials, workshops, and platform documentation.
The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, which entails time in the office. You will need to be able to work from the head office in Dartford, Kent.
