£93 – £98 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming primary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time for the Spring/Summer Term. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about education and eager to contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
You’ll be working closely with class teachers to support whole-class learning, as well as providing additional support for small groups and individual pupils. The role will run for one term initially, with the possibility of extending further.
Responsibilities:
* Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons across the primary phase
* Provide tailored support for pupils in small groups and 1:1 settings
* Help prepare learning resources and maintain a well-organised classroom
* Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
* Support pupil wellbeing and ensure safeguarding standards are upheld
Requirements:
* Experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
* Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent)
* A positive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Commitment to safeguarding and child development
