It is essential for the ideal candidate to have a current NMC pin and be happy with hybrid working.
Ideally based near either Wolverhampton, Doncaster, Peterborough, St Helens, Heywood or Albrighton.
TRC has teamed up with a reputable complex care provider to assist them with the recruitment of a senior clinical expert to be the most senior clinical person in the business! The company has 5 branches which are all currently rated Good by the CQC.
My client provides individual, specialist care to around 250 adults and children within the community in the comfort of their homes, with the support of 1000 care assistants and 16 Nurses. They support clients with complex needs such as PEG feeds, tracheostomy’s, etc.
The role will be based highly on supporting the delivery of high-quality and person-centred care to all of their clients, ensuring clinical standards are met and ensuring the company meets Health & Safety, Clinical Governance and Risk Management obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
* To contribute to the achievement of the company strategy and objectives by providing advice and guidance on clinical, operational, and regulatory matters.
* To provide key oversight of clinical risk management and care delivery processes.
* Lead the companies Governance and Risk Management processes and meetings.
* Chair and lead the quarterly clinical review meetings.
* The management of complaints and incidents, including the company Serious Untoward Incident framework.
* Review and update clinical policies and paperwork.
* To provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing team in the business.
* Staffs Health Declaration requirements.
* Clinical investigations.
* The management of the clinical competency process ensuring this is reviewed and reported.
* Management and oversight of all incoming central alerting system (CAS) reports and dissemination of these throughout the company as applicable.
* To ensure that CQC care standards are adhered to in a consistent manner across the company.
* Hold full responsibility for the company’s clinical governance obligations.
* Management and undertaking of regular quality auditing, ensuring that the schedule is up to date and continues to develop as the business grows.
* Create, implement, and monitor all applicable company risk assessment and management
* Processes.
* Management of direct reports across clinical and quality departments to deliver a safe and effective frontline care service.
