Business Development Director, CME, Europe
A well established leader in Continuing Medical Education (CME) offering high-quality, innovative education are seeking a Director of Educational Development to drive growth within its European CME division. This is a high-impact, commercial role focused on securing grant funding, expanding biopharma partnerships, and delivering engaging educational programmes for healthcare professionals outside the US.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and grow relationships with biopharmaceutical clients to drive revenue
* Lead strategic grant initiatives across global markets (with a focus on Europe)
* Identify and prospect new stakeholders and funding opportunities
* Collaborate cross-functionally to shape sales strategies and market positioning
* Partner with scientific and grant teams to create high-quality submissions
Experience Required:
* Proven track record (5+ years) in CME sales
* Strong experience working with pharma, biotech, or medical device companies
* Deep understanding of CME, including accreditation and funding processes
* Demonstrated ability to build and grow client relationships
* Experience selling live and digital CME activities (preferred)
