Job Description
The AWS Technical Lead will bring a wealth of experience in cloud computing, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS), to guide the technical direction of our AWS projects. This role demands collaboration with development and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of cloud-based solutions. The AWS Technical Lead will engage with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructure.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and infrastructure requirements.
* Work with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
* Monitor and optimise the performance, security, and cost of AWS services.
* Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure.
* Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards.
* Develop and maintain documentation for AWS architecture and processes.

Essential Skills
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud computing, with 5+ years of proven experience in AWS.
* Strong understanding of AWS services including Compute, Networking, Storage, Database, Microservices, and DevOps.
* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
* Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Hands-on experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
* Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipeline practices and tools, including Terraform, Packer, Git, GitHub, Gitlab, Jira & Confluence.
* Experience working on Migration/Modernisation projects.
* Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
* Experience with multi-cloud environments.
* Exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI/Amazon Bedrock.
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional (Must).
