As our Learning and Development Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality, sustainability and operational excellence by identifying training needs, designing impactful learning programmes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with all teams to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Develop course content and manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS).
Design and delivery of bespoke classroom-based training, online training courses and workshops which meet operational needs.
Facilitate multilingual training programs with the support of on-site translators.
Align training initiatives with compliance requirements and industry best practices, ensuring our team operate in accordance with all relevant legislation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records to support compliance and meet both internal and external audit requirements.
Engage with agency representatives to ensure alignment and consistency with all company training programmes.
Carry out training needs analysis, consulting with all appropriate stakeholders
Take ownership of training matrix.
Monitor key training metrics and present data driven reports to Senior Management.
What We're Looking For
Level 3 Award in Education and Training or proven experience in a professional training role.
Flexibility with an adaptable training style.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Experience in course content development and LMS administration.
Friendly and confident communication style with the ability to demonstrate sensitivity, tolerance, and patience.
Previous training experience within the food industry or a fast-paced manufacturing environment is desirable.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, office-based position working Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm. Occasional weekend work will be required.
