<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.</li><li>Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.</li><li>Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.</li><li>Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards.</li><li>Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable.</li><li>Comply with site waste management procedures.</li><li>Complete required documents including daily occurrence log, shift handover, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports.</li><li>Maintain familiarity with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations to improve.</li><li>Comply with site schedules, working an average of 54 hours per week covering nights and weekends; shift times will be 0530‑1730 and 1730‑0530.</li><li>Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications & Competencies</h3><ul><li>A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential.</li><li>A valid SIA CCTV Licence – desirable.</li><li>Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.</li><li>Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.</li><li>Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).</li><li>Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Real Living Wage Foundation partner and Social Enterprise.</li><li>Company sick pay scheme.</li><li>Paid SIA licence renewals.</li><li>Enhanced Family Leave Pay.</li><li>Cycle to Work Scheme.</li><li>High staff discounts & rewards scheme.</li><li>Access to Digital GP.</li><li>Excellent pension scheme.</li><li>Death in Service – £5,000.</li><li>Recruitment bonus scheme.</li><li>New business lead scheme.</li><li>Employee assistance programme.</li></ul><h3>Equality and Diversity</h3><p>Corps Security adheres to the principles of Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO).
