We are seeking a Private Client Paralegal to join our growing legal practice based in Thame, Oxfordshire. The role involves supporting solicitors with legal administration related to Wills, Trusts, and Probate.
Responsibilities include:
1. Assisting solicitors with private client work, including wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, and estates.
2. Managing legal administration tasks, maintaining compliant files, and drafting client correspondence.
3. Supporting compliance procedures for letters of engagement, file opening, and AML checks.
4. Engaging with clients and supporting vulnerable clients with professionalism and sensitivity.
5. Handling probate applications, inheritance tax forms, and estate management from start to finish.
6. Updating case management systems and tracking case progress.
Candidate requirements:
* Prior experience in private client work within a law firm is preferred.
* Legal qualifications such as Law Degree, CILEX, STEP, or LPC are advantageous.
* Attention to detail, client-centric attitude, and familiarity with systems like MyHMCTS and Quill are desirable.
Additional details:
The position can be full-time, with options for hybrid working (office and remote).
