A mid-cap international consumer business operating in over 15 countries is seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead its finance transformation journey. Backed by a well know private equity business and with ambitious plans to double revenue over the next five years, this is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, acquisitive environment.
The Opportunity
This is a pivotal time to join the business. Following rapid growth through acquisition and organic expansion, the company is now focused on strengthening its core finance capabilities. The Group Financial Controller will take full ownership of the group finance function, including reporting, tax, treasury, and controls, while also contributing to a broader transformation agenda.
A new ERP system is in the early stages of implementation, and there are active plans to centralise the global finance function, including the potential establishment of shared service centres. You'll work closely with the CFO to professionalise the team, enhance reporting accuracy, improve cash flow forecasting, and ensure the finance function is fit for future growth.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead group reporting, tax, and treasury functions
* Oversee consolidated monthly management accounts and statutory reporting
* Manage relationships with lenders and ensure covenant compliance
* Drive improvements in cash flow forecasting and control environment
* Support funding exercises and post-acquisition accounting
* Champion finance transformation and SAP optimisation
Candidate Profile
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with 8+ years' experience
* Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge; experience with group consolidations
* Proven leadership in international, multi-entity and multi-country environments
* Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and high-growth settings

£130,000–£145,000 + £9,400 car allowance + bonus
