The Role
This is a senior position, taking full oversight of the design function across multiple façade remediation projects. Working closely with the Pre‑Construction Director, you will lead and manage the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence, compliance, and coordination at every stage.
Key responsibilities include:
* Full management of the design process and BSR Gateway requirements across multiple projects
* Leading and coordinating the internal design team and external consultants, including structural engineers
* Overseeing design development from concept, pre‑construction, and detailed design through to handover
* Ensuring all designs meet current building safety regulations, compliance standards, and buildability requirements
* Working across multiple projects nationwide at various stages of delivery
* Supporting pre‑construction activities, tenders, and technical submissions
About You
* Proven experience as a Design Manager within the façades / cladding remediation sector
* Strong technical understanding of façade systems and building safety / BSR processes
* Stable career background within the façades industry
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and design outputs
* A hands‑on, solutions‑focused approach with strong leadership capability
