Transport Administrator - Fixed term contract - Until September 2026
The main role will be to effectively support the transport operation within a large manufacturing and logistics organisation,ensuring that all work is done in a timely and accurate manner, using different Web Portal systems and the Warehouse Management System.
The ideal candidate will ensure all roles are done in the most efficient and accurate way possible to ensure we meet our OTIF targets, therefore we require a highly motivated, organized, reliable, trustworthy and flexible team member with good leaderships skills and a willingness to learn and succeed.
The successful candidate will be driven, knowledgeable, possess an excellent level of clear communication, highly organized and able to work under pressure.
Essential: 4 GCSEs to grade C or equivalent to include English & Maths;
Excellent communication skills;
Highly organized and able to work to deadlines under pressure;
Time management and prioritization skills;
A good level of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
Minimum 3 years experience in a busy transport environment;
A good understanding of the legal requirements for the handling and transporting on goods;
A high level of knowledge of geographical locations within the UK;
