Endoscopy Practitioner
Ross Hall Hospital, Glasgow – 37.5 hours per week, permanent. Salary up to £35,500 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.
About the Role
This full‑time role involves working 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern. The Endoscopy Practitioner will support the team in delivering high‑quality care and improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community.
* Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
* Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge, skill, and expertise.
* Communicate appropriately with others involved in the care of the patient.
* Act as an advocate for safeguarding patients; demonstrate courage to speak up when there are concerns about care.
* Demonstrate commitment to improving care and the patient experience.
Required Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
* Basic and advanced competence/qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
* Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
* Teaching/Assessing/Mentorship qualifications.
* Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01‑06).
* ILS.
